Mission
- Downtown Creative Works is a nonprofit organization based in Downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina, inspired by the energy of our downtown’s entrepreneurial spirit and dedicated to empowering culture, education, creativity, and community. Through shared stories, creative experiences, and collaborative events, we spark imagination, strengthen community ties, and support a thriving local economy. Our volunteer-led projects bring people together to celebrate creativity, honor our shared history, and help keep our downtown vibrant, welcoming, and connected for everyone—including the visitors who come to tour and experience it.

The creative heartbeat. Spark Downtown brings life and color to Fayetteville through seasonal campaigns and community events like Elf Season, A Dickens Holiday, and Midsummer Magic. Each Spark moment invites neighbors, visitors, and small businesses to share in the fun and keep downtown shining all year long.

A beloved Fayetteville tradition, A Dickens Holiday transforms downtown into a charming Victorian village filled with carolers, carriage rides, and candlelight.
